Change
engine oil and filter. (Synthetic where applicable). Check vehicle
fluids, tire pressure and condition of vehicle.
Our
oil service includes a visual inspection of the vehicle undercarriage,
any problems detected are noted in a report by the BMW
technician servicing your car. John our service manager will
be happy to discuss any findings along with recommendations
made.
Inspection I - Performed
at 20, 60, and 100,000 miles. Change oil and filter, change
fuel filter, check driveline,
check exhaust, check brakes front & rear, clean and re-gap
spark plugs, pressure test cooling system, check hoses,
belts, service battery and top off all fluids. Pull fault codes
and reset service lights. Wash engine and do final road test.
Inspection II - Performed
at 40, 80, and 120,000 miles. Change oil and filter,
change fuel filter, replace air filter, replace cabin air
filter, replace spark plugs (where applicable,) Check driveline,
check exhaust, change transmission and differential oils, lubricate
suspension and cv rubber, check brakes front and rear, check
tires and set tire pressure. Pressure test colling system, check
hoses, belts and service battery, pull fault codes and reset
service interval lights. Wash engine and do final road test.

Brake
Service -
Remove
wheels and brake calipers, coat new brake pads with anti squeal
compound, lubricate hubs and calipers,
install new brake rotors and new brake pads. Torque wheels
and road test to bed new pads.
We

Optional aftermarket brake pads

EBC Greenstuff brake pads - A
high performance brake pad with little to no brake dust. Yes
that's right, these pads will stop you
quicker, along with the added benefit of little to no brake
dust. Thoroughly tested by the owner Rick Row on his 1999
M3, these brake
pads have become a customer favorite. Available for most BMW
models.

Suspension
-
Shocks and springs .
If your car is not as responsive as it
once was in the handling department, it might be time to
check your suspension.
We offer replacement shocks and spring
sets from several manufacturers: Bilstein, Eibach, H&R,
DINAN, and Vogtland.
We also provide a visual inspection of the suspension whilst
performing routine service work. Areas checked include:
Upper and lower control arms and bushings, upper and lower ball
joints and rear subframe mounts. Shocks are also checked for
any
signs of fluid leakage. Any worn or defective parts are written
up by the BMW technician servicing your car along with a recommendation.

Pre-Purchase
Inspection -
If you're about to purchase a used BMW
we recommend you bring it by for a pre-purchase inspection.
Any reputable Auto Dealer should have no problem with you taking
a car to an unbiased third party.
A pre-purchase inspection includes: Checking the underside of
the vehicle and all suspension components, checking brakes,
front and
rear, check of exhaust system, check driveline, check for any
leaks from engine, transmission or differential, check cooling
system
and hoses, check belts, lights and charging system, check battery
and check systems for function. Check for any damage from
accident or repair, check tires, road test and advise.(Compression
test available per request.)
The pre-purchase inspection usually takes 1 - 1.5 hours depending
on the car. We consider this money well spent and recommend
it to
our customers.

Engine
-
Options available for engine replacement
are as follows
1/
A BMW factory remanufactured engine.
2/ A complete engine overhaul.
3/ Engine conversion - installing
an engine from a newer model with more horsepower into your
car.
We were the first shop in the North Bay to install a 1995 E36
M3 engine and transmission into a E30 3 series. We also transplanted
the complete E30 M3 brakes and suspension, thus ensuring the
car would be able to handle it's new found power.
Our service manager would be happy to discuss these options
in greater detail with you.
